The Bank of America Center Building was completed in 1974. The building consists of the 25 story office tower and the adjacent 4 story pavilion. The property is owned by American Financial Realty Trust and comprises 540,765 rentable square feet of office and retail space. The building includes an on-site eight story parking garage with 516 parking spaces as well as the Shockoe parking garage located on 12th & Canal which includes 624 spaces.
The spectacular main lobby, renovated in 1995, features an Italian marble lobby with a Café. Multi-tenant-floor Common Areas have also been renovated, providing the perfect transition to Tenants’ suites and complimenting the design features of the lobby. Other building amenities include a banking center, a printing shop, and an optometrist. The building is convenient to all areas of Richmond with its proximity and easy access to I-64, I-95, and I-195.
The glass and stone aggregate exterior is surrounded by a brick plaza that includes an exterior water feature, mosaic-tile mural depicting a historical scene of the James River, and a grassy park-like inviting seating; altogether providing a delightful setting for pleasant lunches outdoors.
Located in the Central Business District, Bank of America Center is convenient walking distance to shops, restaurants, the State Capital, and historic Shockoe Slip.
